Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using JIJ Options (“the Service”), operated by the individual developer (“we”, “us”, or “I”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. The Service

JIJ Options is a personal options-trade tracking application that helps retail traders log, monitor, and analyse their cash-secured put, covered call, and Poor Man's Covered Call (PMCC) positions. The Service is provided as-is for informational and personal organisational purposes only.

2. Not Financial Advice

JIJ Options does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Nothing on the Service constitutes a recommendation to buy or sell any security. All trade data you log is your own; the Service merely helps you organise and view it. You are solely responsible for your own investment decisions. Past performance shown in the app reflects your own historical trades and is not indicative of future results.

3. Eligibility and Account

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us at wenshun9@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. Subscription and Billing

• The Service offers a free plan with no payment required, covering cash-secured put and covered call tracking with no time limit.
• A paid Pro plan is available at $5.99 USD per month, unlocking additional features. No trial period applies — payment is required at the time you upgrade, and billing begins immediately.
• You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time from your account settings; your Pro access continues until the end of the current billing period.
• Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. No refunds are issued for partial months.
• Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your card details.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute any part of the Service.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure.
• Share your account credentials with others.

6. Your Data

You own the trade data you enter into the Service. We store it securely on your behalf using Supabase (a managed PostgreSQL service). We do not sell, share, or monetise your data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

7. Availability and Changes

We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time. If we discontinue the Service entirely, we will provide reasonable notice.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to trading losses. The Service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
